The Bucket Shop, a Highland Square staple for nearly 8 decades, has apparently closed its doors. When questioned a passerby said, “that place closed like three or four years ago - its some chache bar now.” Even though most people barely remember the bar because they “only went there when they were sooo f-ing hammered” many acounts state how they miss it because it was the only place that served after 2:30AM and it supposidly was easy to get an “eight ball” there. Matinee patron Pat said, “I got punched in the back of the head there once and I never went back…I didn’t even know they closed.” The bar that has taken its place is called Ray’s Pub. When another Matinee patron was asked if it was worth checking out he mumbled, “yeah - if you wanna hang out with a buncha d-bags”.
In other Highland Square closings news a Walgreens has replaced the Trolley Stop - more on this Breaking News as the information comes in.
