Today’s Hostess Snack Cakes delivery to the Walgreen’s Pharmacy on West Market Street was “successful” according to a spokesperson for the retail chain.
Eyewitnesses had reported a large white Hostess delivery van parked in the Walgreen’s lot around 2:50 PM. All interactions indicated that the delivery was proceeding without incident.
A successful delivery would mean that there will be no shortages of individually packaged desert items in Highland Square today and also that the Hostess cakes and pies at the West Market/Portage Path Walgreen’s will be among the freshest in the Akron-Metro area.
