S Portage Path: 11:30 AM
In the space that had been occupied by a tarp for the past several months, a strange glass pyramid stands. Located at the northwest corner of the almost complete (New) Portage Path School, the 30 foot tall glass pyramid juts out in stunning Gehry-esque fashion from the otherwise drab facade of the three-story complex. The recently added planting beds (maybe?) have given the building the look of a 19th century fort, protecting the building from a ground attack but ironically, the building’s most eye-catching feature may also prove its Achilles’ Heel in the event of attack.
No one from Akron Public Schools was reached for comment, but the structure -which previously was to represent some uninformed and poorly directed tribute to the Native Americans that were exterminated from this area over 170 years ago- now appears more as a thinly veiled Illuminati symbol designed to ease students gently into a life of servitude. Reporters will be watching the site in the upcoming weeks in case a giant left eye is attached to the top of the pyramid.
